The Inner Dimension

Tasawwuf

If the Pillars are the body of Islam, Tasawwuf is the science of its heart — the purification of the soul so that one worships God, in the Prophet's words, “as though you see Him.” This is the path Hazrat Zia Jaffry (R.A.) walked and taught.

أَنْ تَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ كَأَنَّكَ تَرَاهُ

“Ihsan is to worship Allah as though you see Him; for though you see Him not, truly He sees you.”

The Prophet ﷺ · Sahih Muslim 8
